• Trauma,
• Trauma-informed services,

Our Mission
Our mission is to help people recover from traumatic experiences through RICH® relationships—those hallmarked by Respect, Information Sharing, Connection, and Hope.

We accomplish this by

  • Providing training, consulting, and community building;
  • Offering products that support Risking Connection® and carry its messages to the public; and
  • Modeling RICH® relationships

Our Purpose
To reduce the time, trauma, and cost of healing for all involved.

From a trauma survivors’ point of view, risking a connection often feels very dangerous. Yet, to heal, survivors of child abuse, combat, and other traumatic experience must do just that—take the chance of caring for, and being cared for by, supportive and loving others.

Risking Connection® teaches a relational framework and skills for working with survivors of traumatic experiences. The focus is on relationship as healing.

Risking Connection® takes the fear out of helping trauma survivors with a new way of thinking and relating. RC makes it easier for you and the survivors in your life.

Risking Connection® has proven helpful to

  • Clinicians, educators, and faith leaders,
  • Caregivers, friends, and family
  • Others with whom trauma survivors relate.
